Raftr publishes app and web updates every two weeks, adding new features, improving existing functions, and providing housekeeping and bug fixes as they arise. Here’s the latest summary of updates from this week’s new platform updates:
Android:
- Added Notifications settings – available at the top of the Notifications list
- Added an alert badge to chat channels’ settings icon for admin to know when there are pending join requests and/or member suggestion
- Updated the navigation bar buttons at the bottom of the screen and added to more locations in the app
iOS:
- Reintroduced Notifications settings – available at the top of the Notifications list
- Updated designs for messaging and DM threads
- Lots of fixes like no longer seeing chat messages with the wrong names (no more “bubbletop!”) and improving playback feature for videos
Web:
- Updated profiles – with more distinction for your own profile vs. other people’s profiles
- Added date separators and “edited” indicators for messaging threads
- Updated notifications to make it more clear which ones have already been opened
- Some fixes like removing link previews when links are removed
