Raftr Support: October 19 Update

All platforms:

  • Continued metrics updates
  • Updated messages and navigation after creating content

Android:

  • Introduced views counts on Posts
  • Replaced bookmark, file, and media archives for default Channels with filters in the conversation view
  • Enabled support for admin-selected default page (Home vs. Campus) on Portal
  • Some fixes and improvements:
    • Improved reply gestures in chat
    • Updated some onboarding text and graphics
    • Updated UI for the “see all” view for Pinned content on Rafts
    • A variety of small UI tweaks to get to spec on the Campus page
    • Updated content on Home page to reflect various statuses like frozen or restricted
    • Updated Rafts’ Events pages to be shown when there are no upcoming Events
    • Introduced a new informational alert the first time someone marks Interested on an Event

iOS:

  • Replaced bookmark, file, and media archives for default Channels with filters in the conversation view
  • Continued cobranding support
  • Some fixes and improvements:
    • Improved reply gestures in chat
    • Updated some onboarding text and graphics
    • Updated content on Home page to reflect various statuses like frozen or restricted
    • Updated Raft and Channel member pages

Web:

  • Flagged chat messages will now have red formatting when viewed by Channel admin
  • Continued performance improvements
  • Some fixes and improvements like:
    • Updated text when sharing things to third-party apps
    • Aligned Channels portion of Raft Spotlight sections on the Campus page with recent Channel UI updates
    • Refreshed the “card” view for regular Posts, including the related preview on the image cropper tool

Admin Portal:

  • Updated class year field when creating users to only show Alumni and Student Personas, as well as adding class year to Alumni and Student Personas when editing user accounts
  • Some fixes and improvements like adding an emoji selector option before choosing a category, while editing Topics
