Raftr Support: March 2 Update

All Platforms:

  • Attach files to DM
  • Updated map view on Events feed to be zoomed out by default (and thus show more Events’ pins)
  • Continued API maintenance and housekeeping updates to improve performance

Android:

  • Introduced initial support for multi-community membership
  • Enabled tagging users on Posts
  • Some fixes like:
    • Refreshing UI for message when opening a channel or raft’s share link
    • Introducing visual indicators to members of secret rafts when seeing the rafts on Explore or in Search – to confirm the rafts are secret and only visible there to members
    • Adding Pro check on ProUsers when creating Posts
    • Enabling un-restricting channel and raft members
    • Completing analytics audit to wrap-up analytics parity with other platforms

iOS:

  • Introduced initial support for multi-community membership
  • Introduced initial support for customized colors throughout the app
  • Some fixes and improvements like:
    • Refreshing UI for message when opening a channel or raft’s share link
    • Adding Pro check on ProUsers when creating Posts
    • Enabling un-restricting channel and raft members

Web:

  • Introduced initial support for customized colors throughout the app
  • Expanded support for multi-community membership
  • Announcements updates:
    • Saving Announcement drafts
    • Duplicating Announcements
  • Some fixes and improvements like:
    • Rafts are now pre-populated when creating Posts anywhere in the app; when not on a Raft page, this will be the Raft you most recently created a Post on
    • Updating Channels feed button in navigation bar to have a red dot when there are unread messages
    • Updating People sections on Explore to be consistent with other section types
    • Updating empty states for Explore sections, as well as preventing Explore editors from leaving Explore empty
    • Adding a calendar view for Scheduled Posts
    • Introducing image cropping options for images added in comments
    • Introducing rotate option in image cropper tool
    • Removing old create menu from left sidebar
