Raftr Support: February 10 Update

All Platforms:

  • Introduced Shortcuts feature – exclusively available on Explore *In beta now
  • Introduced Incognito (aka: anonymous) chat, which can be enabled by Channel Leaders on ProRafts *In beta now
  • Updated Posts to support attaching multiple images
  • It is now possible to cross-post all Post types

Android:

  • Enabled cross-posting Events on up to 50 rafts
  • Added new “more” button on Post composers
  • Some fixes like:
    • Explore and the raft-level Events and Posts feeds now retain your place when you leave and return via the back button
    • Rafts on Explore indicate “requested” membership state, when relevant

iOS:

  • Introduced “seen by” feature for chat messages (available in the “more” menu via swiping/long press)
  • App-level feeds now have a carousel of rafts that the content can be coming from
  • Added new “more” button on Post composers
  • Some fixes like:
    • Share extension updated for sharing content to Raftr from other apps
    • Refreshed UI on raft home page
    • Rafts on Explore indicate “requested” membership state, when relevant

Web:

  • Introduced initial support for multi-community membership
  • Updated main header navigation
  • Update chat to have two separate feeds: Personal Chat and Channels
  • Announcements can be sent to a subset of Raft members
  • Added crop tools when attaching images to chat messages
  • Some fixes like:
    • Explore and the raft-level Events and Posts feeds now retain your place when you leave and return via the back button
    • Rafts on Explore indicate “requested” membership state, when relevant
    • Calendar for Events feeds filtering indicates dates with/without events
    • Pro check on ProUsers when creating Posts
    • Back button no longer takes back to login screen
