Raftr publishes app and web updates every two weeks, adding new features, improving existing functions, and providing housekeeping and bug fixes as they arise. Here’s the latest summary of updates from this week’s new platform updates:
Android:
- Added an Announcements feature for ProUsers, found via the + button at the bottom of the screen
- Added a Post-As feature for ProUsers, to be able to create posts as other, connected ProUser accounts
- Added an archive feature for chat channels, where you can quickly see all media or polls shared on a given channel
- Added a bookmarking feature for chat channels, so you can bookmark messages on any channel and see them together in your bookmarks list for
- Added more options for each channel in the list on rafts – you can swipe to discover the available options there
- Some fixes like how calendar updates with filter updates on the Events feed and to increase stability
iOS:
- Added an Announcements feature for ProUsers, found via the + button at the bottom of the screen
- Added a Post-As feature for ProUsers, to be able to create posts as other, connected ProUser accounts
- Added an archive for polls on chat channels
- Some fixes like being able to include links in poll questions (as long as they fit within the character limit
Web:
- Added an Announcements feature for ProUsers, found via the Create New section at the top of the left sidebar on feeds, Explore, and profile
- Added a Post-As feature for ProUsers, to be able to create posts as other, connected ProUser accounts
- Enabled opening media from chat messages into a full view
- Some fixes to flow for creating and editing chat messages and to shorten links in poll questions
