Invest in Yourself: Announcing Nadia Rawlinson

We told you there were some incredible announcements coming up, and here’s the latest: Nadia Rawlinson, Chief People Officer at Slack, will be a featured speaker at the Invest in Yourself Virtual Experience.

Join Raftr on June 16 at 12:30 p.m. Eastern for “Work Resiliency: A Chat with Sue Decker and Nadia Rawlinson.” Nadia Rawlinson is the Chief People Officer for Slack Technologies. Nadia is responsible for all aspects of Slack’s employee and workplace operations, including global recruiting, people operations, total rewards, diversity, organizational effectiveness, real estate and program management. Nadia has nearly 20 years of exceptional experience across all facets of human resources strategy and development on a global scale, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Vail Resorts.

Prior to Slack, Nadia served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Live Nation Entertainment, a Fortune 500 global leader in the live events industry. As CHRO, Nadia oversaw HR strategy and development for Live Nation’s 35,000 employees. Nadia is known for developing differentiated people programs for the next-Gen employee, including a student loan repayment program that was a first in the industry and featured in Bloomberg Businessweek. Under her leadership, Live Nation was certified as as Great Place to Work® for the first time in 2016 and every year since, Forbes Magazine’s list for Best Companies for Diversity, as well as being honored as part of a small cadre of organizations to People Magazine’s Companies that Care. Prior to Live Nation, Nadia led and co-led human resources teams for Rakuten USA and Groupon, respectively.

In her down time, Nadia is actively involved at her alma mater serving in various alumni leadership capacities, as well helped launch The Allbright and Chief – both collectives of international members clubs and networks for professional women – as a founding member. Nadia resides with her husband David in Chicago and their two jazz-inspired, ill-behaved pups, Miles and Herbie. Nadia received her BA from Stanford University and MBA from Harvard Business School.
